Scuba divers enter a world that is beautiful beyond words

Scuba diving is a sport that is unlike anything else on earth. The adventurous few strap on tanks of pressurized air that allow them to slip beneath the waves and descend into a world of wonders and indescribable beauty. It is a world that is both tranquil and exhilarating at the same time. The reefs below the waves are alive with colour and with animals, sponges, corals, and see fans. They are home to fish, sea turtles, eels, and crustaceans of all kinds. We have only begun to discover this part of the planet, with more species being identified each day. But scuba diving is not for the untrained. There is much to understand about pressure, breathing compressed air, the effects of nitrogen accumulation, and the dangers that can come from acting irresponsibly. Fortunately, scuba diving instructors around the world take their job very seriously and they train countless new scuba divers each year in order to make this sport perfectly safe for all to enjoy. There are several organizations that standardize this training so that skills and precautions are taught properly. Divers without advanced qualifications must dive with accomplished dive masters or instructors who are responsible for keeping them safe. Scuba divers are presented with different sights every time they enter the water. The marine life is ever changing and each dive is completely unique. The colours are spectacular and occasionally, curious turtles, fish, and other animals will approach a diver to get a closer look. Divers are clumsy and slow in comparison with the animals who live in this world, and with respectful behaviour, the divers appear non-threatening. Close encounters with sea life can create unforgettable experiences. This video presents just a glimpse of what is in store for those who wish to explore a part of the world that very few have the privilege of seeing.
