A toddler was rescued after slipping underneath a train at Sydney’s Wolli Creek Station on February 24.

A passenger, Joseph Mourtada, filmed the moment when three men jumped through the gap between the stopped train and the platform onto the train track in order to search for the child.

The video shows a train station staff member asking the men “where is she” before the girl is confirmed as safe.

The mother, who holds a baby’s stroller, is seen shaking and sobbing in the video as she is led to reunite with her daughter.

“She has never been on a train. It’s our first trip. It might be the last for a while,” the mother can be heard saying as she sees her child.

A man in a black T-shirt holds the toddler and brings her back to the mother, and the staff member shakes the man’s hand before asking for his name.
