Tom Brady and Drew Brees Hug It Out After Superdome Showdown

Drew Brees and Tom Brady chatted and hugged it out on the field at the New Orleans Superdome on Sunday, January 17, after Brady and his Buccaneers came out on top in the battle of the fortysomething quarterbacks.

There was time, too, for the six-time Super Bowl champ to throw one last touchdown pass, this one to Brees’s son, who caught the ball expertly in the corner.

Brady, 43, had earlier guided his new team to a closely fought 30-20 victory against the home favorites.

Brees, who turned 42 the Friday before the game, did not confirm his retirement immediately after, telling reports, “I’m gonna give myself an opportunity to think about the season, think about a lot of things, just like I did last year, and make a decision.” Credit: James Palmer via Storyful
