Lines of traffic stretched for miles in Paris and surrounding areas on October 29, ahead of a second lockdown imposed due to rising coronavirus cases in France.

This footage, posted to Twitter, shows traffic at a standstill on the Boulevard des Batignolles.

The French news outlet Actu reported a record-breaking 420 miles of traffic jams across the city by 5:30 pm on October 29.
