Travellers Get Temperature Checks in Majorca as Spain Eases COVID-19 Restrictions

Passengers arriving in Palma de Mallorca received temperature checks on May 11 as Spain began to ease its COVID-19 restrictions.

The government of the Balearic Islands announced that it would be taking extra precautions in order to protect the health of residents of the area.

Most regions of Spain, including the Balearic Islands, moved into “phase one” of easing restrictions on May 11. Under the measures, social gatherings of up to 10 people inside a home and the reopening of some small businesses were permitted.
