A truck was blown over by powerful winds, obstructing traffic on the Richmond Bridge as a major storm hit the San Francisco Bay Area on October 24.

Miranda Kay Holland took this video, which shows the truck on its side. “It was a very windy day and I had noticed going into the bridge that a police officer was already not allowing trucks onto the bridge. Took us about 30 minutes inching along the bridge before we actually saw the truck,” Holland told Storyful.

An atmospheric river brought gusty winds along with flooding rains to the Bay Area. At least 3.56 inches of rain had been recorded in the city at around 9:20 pm, the National Weather Service said, smashing the previous daily record of 2.48 inches on October 13, 2009. The NWS said the storm had pushed the month into being the second-wettest on record. Credit: Miranda Kay Holland via Storyful
