Hail Pelts Neighborhood in Eastern Minnesota

Hail was reported in eastern Minnesota as a severe thunderstorm hit the region overnight into Sunday, July 14, footage shows.

Footage filmed and posted to X by user @JRE_LLAP shows hail pelting a deck in Oakdale, Minnesota. According to the source, the hail started out as pea-sized before becoming quarter-sized.

“Absolutely wild,” @JRE_LLAP said.

According to a local news report, the overnight storm left thousands of residents without power.
