Computer pioneer Sir Clive Sinclair died at age 81

Computer pioneer and inventor Sir Clive Sinclair has died at age 81 at his London home. His daughter said he passed away on Thursday after living with cancer for over a decade. Sir Clive launched the first affordable consumer computer in 1980, costing less than £100. Sinclair became the first company in the world to sell more than a million computers.  The entrepreneur was the mastermind behind many other gadgets including the pocket calculator, pocket television and Sinclair C5 electric tricycle. Sir Clive leaves behind 3 children, 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. .
