Chief Secretary to the Treasury Chris Philp has defended the government's so-called mini-budget, saying the economic plan "cuts taxes for everybody, rich and poor alike". He said more measures will be announced through the autumn, adding: "This growth plan is just the start of the work this new government will do to make sure our economy grows.".
