Prime Minister Rishi Sunak says “the scale of human loss is something that is hard to comprehend”, following the aftermath of the earthquake in Turkey and Syria. The Conservative Party leader also adds that the government will match £5 million in funds raised through the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) appeal to help the rescue and relief effort.
