Swinson vows to scrap business rates if they win election

Lib Dems leader Jo Swinson has told CBI conference "we are the only ones standing up for you" as she vows to scrap business rates and replace them with a levy on landowners. “We will ask all UK listed companies and private companies with more than 250 staff to have at least one employee representative on their boards. That will help rebuild trust between workers and bosses.", Ms Swinson added. .
