JSU basketball earns top SWAC Awards

Both Jackson State men's and women's basketball teams took home major honors from the SWAC now that the regular season has concluded. JSU women's head coach Tomekia Reed is the Coach of the Year for the third year in a row and Jackson native Ken Evans Jr is the SWAC Player of the Year in men's basketball. Angel Jackson repeats as SWAC Defensive Player of the Year while Jordan O'Neal of the men's team also wins that honor.
