Kiteboarders perform stunts at Megaloop challenge

STORY: Principi beat Spain’s Liam Whaley and Cohan Van Dijk of Netherlands who came in second and third respectively. Principi got a tattoo of the Megaloop trophy just four months before winning it.

Riders braved a storm on Zandvoort beach with winds exceeding 30 knots allowing them to reach massive heights and perform stunts over the water including the ‘megaloop’. The stunt involves shooting 20 meters into the air, steering the kite horizontally over the water, and executing a 360-degree kite loop.
