Multiple people were killed and several left injured after a shooting at a mall in the Danish capital Copenhagen on Sunday, July 3, police said.

Citing police, local media reported a 22-year-old ethnic Dane had been detained as a suspect and that investigators had not ruled out the possibility of terrorism.

Police did not immediately provide specific details on the numbers of deaths and injuries.

Footage filmed by Steve Pedersen Hinrup from a nearby hotel shows a heavy police presence near the Field’s shopping center. Officers can be seen ushering guests upstairs.

Other footage disseminated on social media shows a man holding a long firearm inside the mall. The man seen holding a firearm in this footage matches images of a man later seen in police custody.

Denmark’s Queen and the Crown Prince Couple released a statement offering their condolences to the victims of the attack.
