Large Crowds Gather in Tel Aviv for Pride Parade

Large crowds gathered on the Tel Aviv beachfront to participate in the city’s Pride parade on Thursday, June 8.

The parade, which usually draws hundreds of thousands of people to the Israeli metropolis, occurred during a heatwave, the Times of Israel reported, with the temperature reaching 86 degrees Fahrenheit on Thursday and 91 degrees forecasted for Friday, according to the Israel Meteorological Service.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the parade, according to Haaretz. The parade would be followed by a variety of parties and events to celebrate Pride month in the city, Tel Aviv Pride said.
