Timelapse footage captured the aurora borealis moving across the sky in southern Minnesota in the early hours of July 2.
This video captured by photographer Judy Allen shows the glimmering light show in the early morning sky at around 12:30 am.
“My husband and I headed out for a drive about two miles from our rural home and were pleasantly surprised with the show we got,” Allen said.
“Chasing northern lights would be my full-time job if I could find a way to make it pay,” she joked. Credit: Judy Allen via Storyful
