Turkish government leaders surveyed search and rescue efforts from a helicopter flying over the Hatay province on Tuesday, February 7, after damaging earthquakes affected the southern region, according to the TR National Defense Department.

Video posted by the TR National Defense Department on Tuesday shows Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar, Chief of General Staff Yasar Guler, and Land Forces Commander Musa Avsever flying over the city of Antakya. The footage shows significant destruction caused by the earthquakes.
