Markets close flat, FOMC meeting preview: Market Domination Overtime

The major indexes (^GSPC, ^DJI, ^IXIC) closed relatively flat on Monday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average closing 49 points lower, and the S&P 500 and Nasdaq eking out gains. The Russell 2000 (^RUT) closed nearly 1% lower. Investors are likely waiting for earnings from a number of Big Tech names, including Microsoft (MSFT), which reports after the market close on Tuesday.

Wall Street faces a busy week with Big Tech earnings and a jobs report on the horizon. George Catrambone, DWS Group head of fixed income and head of trading, joins the show to discuss the implications for the Federal Reserve's future monetary policy actions.

Lamborghini, which is part of Volkswagen (VWAGY, VOW3.DE), reported first-half revenue of €1.62 billion and operating profit of €458 million, a record. It also delivered 5,558 vehicles. The results got a boost from the Revuelto hybrid supercar and the Urus SUV.
