US Army Deploys 3,800 Soldiers to Europe to Aid NATO Allies

Members of the US Army 3rd Infantry Division were deployed to the US Army Europe and Africa Command area of operations in Germany from Hunter Army Airfield in Savannah, Georgia, on Monday, February 28, as Russia continued its attacks on Ukraine.

Approximately 3,800 soldiers from the 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team will arrive in Germany to reassure NATO allies, deter Russian aggression, and be prepared to provide other support in the region, according to the US Army.
