Jordanians show off creative cars in soapbox race

STORY: Amid loud cheering from the crowd, a total of 40 teams took part in the motorless race, hosted by Red Bull, with some drivers crossing the obstacle-filled track successfully, while others ended up with their cars flipped over.

Jordanian driver Ahmad Malkawi said the inspiration for his ruminant vehicle, complete with large horns, was Argentinian soccer player Lionel Messi, who led his team to win the World Cup 2022.

"We tried to be as creative as possible. The idea behind the car, as you can see, is a goat or inspired by the phrase the 'Greatest Of All Time’ - that is Messi," Malkawi said.
