Canada's Immigration Minister Marc Miller said on Wednesday that he objected to the characterization of people who employ temporary foreign workers as “a slave owner” and that he found it “quite offensive.” Acknowledging the need for reform when it comes to abuses within the industry, Miller also said that it was important to ensure that changes would not affect food prices given ongoing inflation.
