Amazon to Hire 250,000 Workers and Increase Pay Amid Holidays

On Sept. 19, Amazon announced that it will hire 250,000 people to keep up with the holiday rush, CNBC reports. That number is significantly more than the 150,000 workers the company said it would hire last year.
