Yahoo TV Disney will feel added pressure from Nelson Peltz's new investment: Analyst
Disney CEO Bob Iger (DIS) has played his decisions on company restructuring close to his chest, much to the chagrin of investors. With Nelson Peltz's recent decision to increase Trian Management's position in Disney, many question if this will add enough pressure for Disney to move faster in it's decisions and if they will appease shareholders.
Laura Martin, Needham & Co. Senior Media & Internet Analyst, joins Yahoo Finance to discuss Peltz's decision and what this will mean for the future of the company.
On the what Peltz could add for investors, Martin says "we are hitting 10-year lows in these shares, I think Nelson Peltz is going to try to disaggregate and sell off pieces much more aggressively, which will take better care of public share holders in the near term."
