Disney vs. DeSantis: Impact on park attendance

Disney's battle with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis looms large for the company. Richard Foglesong, Rollins Professor Emeritus, joins Yahoo Finance Live to discuss the impact of the Disney vs. DeSantis battle on the heel's of Disney's latest earnings report.

Foglesong, who is also the author of 'Married to the Mouse: Walt Disney World and Orlando,' commented on park attendance amid this political battle. Foglesong does not think that the ongoing conflict is having much of an impact on decreasing park attendance.

Foglesong said, "The U.S. parks ... they are both facing a sluggish market." Foglesong added, "Gov. DeSantis and his criticism of Disney is not having a big impact ... the tourist markets in Florida aren't doing well either."
