Over 1,800 iconic pieces of film and TV memorabilia are heading to auction. Propstore's treasure trove of items is anticipated to fetch a jaw-dropping sum of £12 million. Taking the lead in the cinematic extravaganza is a screen-matched C-3PO head from "Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope," which has an estimated sale price of up to £1,000,000. The pristine, golden collectable even illuminates, mimicking the beloved chatty robot from the film. Anthony Daniels, the actor behind C-3PO in the "Star Wars" franchise, expressed his delight, saying, "I hope this can bring pleasure to 'Star Wars' fans and collectors all around the world and give them a chance to own a piece of the real thing." Other iconic items for sale include Marlon Brando's iconic overcoat from the 1972 classic "The Godfather," Jack Dawson's memorable Titanic ensemble, Forrest Gump's legendary Nike sneakers, Daniel Craig's suave black tuxedo from "No Time to Die", Michael Keaton's battle-damaged Batsuit from the 1989 classic "Batman", and Chris Evans' iconic patriotic shield from "Captain America: The First Avenger". Freddy Krueger's eerie metal glove from Wes Craven's "A Nightmare on Elm Street," is also going under the hammer. Online bidding will commence on October 10th via the Propstore website, followed by in-house bidding open to the public in London on November 9th and 10th. Fans will also have the unique opportunity to view more than 250 of these extraordinary lots up close as they will be on exhibit at Propstore's Hertfordshire and California offices from October 10th to November 3rd.
