A man died Tuesday afternoon after he was hit by a vehicle Tuesday afternoon, the Stockton Police Department said. The crash was reported around 4:40 p.m. at Mariposa and Stagecoach roads near Highway 99, the police department said. Mariposa Road is closed in both directions while officers investigate the crash. There is no estimated time of reopening.
