Redwood City's Cordilleras Creek Overflows as Flood Warnings Issued for Bay Area

Cordilleras Creek in Redwood City, California, overflowed on December 31 as an atmospheric river dumped rain on the Bay Area.

This footage shows flooding in Redwood City. “I’ve never seen this creek spill over its banks in 25 yrs,” the source wrote on Twitter.

The National Weather Service said Redwood City recorded its third highest rainfall total since record keeping began in 1906 on Saturday.

The California Highway Patrol said multiple vehicles were stuck in floodwater on a ramp to SB 101.
