The Sacramento Kings have scored another accolade with general manager Monte McNair being named NBA Basketball Executive of the Year. McNair, the architect behind the team’s playoff run this year, received the most votes for the nod from a panel of executives from across the NBA. McNair has been in his role for the past three years and this season brought the Kings to the playoffs for the first time in 17 years.
