Smoke Billows From Bushfire Near Margaret River

A bushfire raged south of the town of Margaret River, Western Australia, on Wednesday, December 8, prompting the evacuation of nearby residents.

Local media reported 150 firefighters were on the ground, assisted by air tankers.

The cause of the fire was still under investigation on Thursday morning, local media reported.
