Stockton man arrested for human trafficking after being found with teen, sheriff says

A Stockton man has been arrested for multiple charges that include trafficking a teen girl. Cristen Brown, 27, was caught after a sting operation by the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office. The sheriff’s office said investigators with the Stanislaus Taskforce Against Human Trafficking messaged Brown on social media on Friday, pretending to be a young girl. They set up a spot to meet and when they did a 17-year-old girl was with Brown, the sheriff’s office said. Detectives determined that the girl was being trafficked by him. The girl has since received medical treatment and was provided social services.
