Tearful grandfather recounts loss at Uvalde

STORY: Holding a picture of his late grandson, a crying George Rodriguez showed in front of Robb Elementary school in Uvalde Thursday to join the mourning.

Mourners could still be seen dropping off flowers in front of the school where a memorial has been organized.

"I would pick him up at the school drop-off at his grandmother's house at 4:00 after school. But that day no, no more." Jose Flores, one of the victims from the latest school shooting.

Two days after a teenage gunman murdered 19 children and two teachers inside a South Texas elementary school classroom, many details surrounding the massacre remained murky, as the small town of Uvalde reeled from the deadliest school shooting in nearly a decade.

In speaking to reporters, Rodriguez recounted his experience on the day of the shooting.
