Tree Struck by Lightning as Storms Sweep North Mississippi

Storms swept north Mississippi on Saturday, August 20, bringing frequent lightning and heavy downpours, the National Weather Service said.

This video showing a damaged tree was captured by Henry Adams, who said it was filmed in Hamilton. The National Weather Service said the damage was caused by a lightning strike on Saturday morning.
