U.S. military equipment heads to Ukraine

STORY: The White House announced earlier this week that it is expanding the scope of the systems provided to include heavy artillery ahead of a wider Russian assault expected in eastern Ukraine.

Since 2014, the United States has committed more than $5.4 billion in total assistance to Ukraine, including security and non-security assistance.
