'APD, KKK, IDF': Protesters Chant at Police at UT Austin Ceasefire Rally

Pro-Gaza protesters gathered at a ceasefire rally at the University of Texas, Austin, campus on April 24.

Footage taken by Candice Bernd captures demonstrators interlocking arms and chanting, “KKK, APD, IDF, they’re all the same” on the university’s South Mall on Wednesday afternoon.

The demonstration was organized by the Palestinian Solidarity Committee of Austin, which planned to lead a march to the campus’s South Lawn and occupy the area for the day, and aligned itself with similar protests taking place at other universities across the country.
