Japan’s cherry blossom season came early this year, as footage of the iconic trees in full bloom, posted to Instagram on March 31, shows.

Video filmed from the back of a tour boat in Kyoto’s Fushimi Ward, shows pale pink cherry blossoms, in full bloom, lining both sides of the canal.
