Houses Toppled in Keaton Beach in Wake of Hurricane Idalia

Homes were damaged in Keaton Beach on Wednesday, August 30, after Hurricane Idalia made landfall in Florida’s Big Bend region that day.

The National Hurricane Center said Idalia made landfall near Keaton Beach at 7:45 am as a Category 3 hurricane, packing maximum sustained winds of 125 mph (205 km/h).
