Police in Minnesota responded to at least a dozen crashes on Thursday, December 13, as a winter storm brought blizzard conditions and reduced visibility across the state.

Video posted by Northwestern, West Central and Central Minnesota State Patrol Public Information Officer Sgt Jesse Grabow shows crashed and slid-off vehicles on Interstate 94, about five miles east of Moorhead.

“Please move over and slow down for first responders,” Grabow wrote on Twitter.

Authorities had responded to 17 crashes between noon on Tuesday and 6 am Wednesday, Grabow said. Units responded to 20 additional vehicles that had slid off the road, as well as four jack-knifed semi-trucks. Credit: Sgt Jesse Grabow via Storyful
