Authorities Urge Residents to Take Precautions as Cold Snap Impacts Northwest Kansas

The National Weather Service (NWS) urged residents to take precautions as a cold snap impacted northwest Kansas on Sunday, January 29.

Footage posted to the NWS Goodland Twitter page shows light specks of snow and flags blowing in the wind at the agency’s office in Goodland, Kansas.

The NWS said the temperature was 9°F with wind chill of -11°F during the evening on January 28.
