STORY: Casey White was reportedly heavily armed when he was arrested on Monday following an 11-day manhunt.

According to police, he told authorities that he had planned to engage in a shootout with law enforcement.

The thirty-eight year-old was broken out of prison by a former corrections officer, Vicky White, last month.

The search ended with a crash in Indiana, according to Sheriff Dave Wedding of Vanderburgh County, Indiana.

Authorities say Vicky suffered an apparently self-inflicted gunshot wound, before she was taken to a hospital and later died.

Casey and Vicky are not related.
