Seattle area residents woke up to fog flowing over local lakes on Wednesday, November 22. The lakes remained cool at the surface, but the air was humid and warm, which triggered the foggy conditions, the National Weather Service said.

Warm temperatures were recorded across the region, including a new record high in Seattle, breaking a record for the date set in 1913.

Moderate flooding was also expected at some area rivers after recent heavy rain. Credit: Instagram/Paul Tupper via Storyful
