Harry Potter 'Forbidden Forest' opens in New York state

STORY: "Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience," at the FDR State Park in Yorktown Heights in Westchester County is opening to the public Saturday (October 22).

"You're going to get all of those creatures that you expect to see," said Heather McGill, the executive producer, and creative director. "All of the films from 'Harry Potter' have The Forbidden Forest in them. So you can expect to see everything from Giants, Hagrid, and Fang."

The interactive park is organized by Warner Brothers Themed Entertainment along with partners Thinkwell and Unify.

Another site of the experience is open in western England with others in Virginia and Belgium.

Tickets are $55 for children, $66 for adults.

"Harry Potter" will remain open to the public until January 22, 2023.
