At least 23 people were killed and dozens more injured after a destructive tornado tore through western Mississippi late on Friday, March 24, officials said.
Footage posted to Facebook by the City of Greenville, shows severe property and vehicle damage in the towns of Rolling Fork and Silver City in the aftermath of the tornado.
Mayor of Greenville Errick Simmons announced relief efforts for the two towns and said donations to help those impacted were being received at Greenville Fire Department from Saturday morning.
