Malaysian Flood Death Toll Continues to Rise

Thirty-three people were confirmed to have died, state media in Malaysia said on December 22, after severe flooding in the states of Penang and Selangor.

Of those, at least 12 were in the township of Taman Sri Muda, southwest of the capital, Kuala Lumpur.

Video posted by Twitter user @_eya93 on Wednesday shows vehicles and streets covered in mud in the township.
