Dash cam footage captured the moment a pick-up truck slid off an icy highway in Mckinney, Texas, as a winter storm impacted the region on Monday, January 30.

The National Weather Service (NWS) urged motorists to drive with caution due to hazards posed by freezing rain and sleet.

Clinton Hendricks, who captured this footage, told Storyful it was taken on Highway 75.

“Very dangerous road conditions. There were several other accidents,” he said. “Each bridge in McKinney TX on 75 was covered in ice and I would lose traction. Heavy freezing rain at times with some sleet mixed in.” Credit: Clinton Hendricks via Storyful
