A crew member from the set of 'Rust' filed what may be the first lawsuit over the fatal shooting on set by actor Alec Baldwin.

The film's chief electrician, Serge Svetnoy, has accused the producers and other crew of failing to implement safety standards.

He's filed a negligence suit against Baldwin and the movie's producers.

Svetnoy added in the lawsuit that he would be haunted forever by holding cinematographer Halyna Hutchins in his arms as she bled from the chest.

"What a terrible tragedy and injustice when a person loses her life on film set while making art."

Also on Wednesday the attorney for Hannah Gutierrez, the woman in charge of the film's weapons, said she believes she was framed over the shooting.

Gutierrez's lawyer said he was convinced that someone deliberately put a live bullet into the gun Baldwin fired, which fatally shot Hutchins.

Although he added there was no proof of sabotage concerning the gun used by Baldwin, who had been told the gun was safe.

Other live rounds have also been found on the set.

Representatives for Baldwin, Gutierrez and the other producers did not immediately return requests for comment on Wednesday.

The producers have previously said they are conducting their own internal investigation and were not aware of any complaints concerning weapons safety on the set before the incident.

Local authorities are still investigating and no criminal charges have been brought against anyone.
