Road closures were in effect across parts of northwestern Washington on Tuesday, March 1, as flood warnings were issued for King and Snohomish counties.

Snoqualmie city officials said a man was safely rescued from floodwaters along Reinig Road in King County.

The Washington Emergency Management Division warned of an increased risk of landslides due to soggy ground caused by rainfall.
