STORY: France's rugby squad insisted on Wednesday (December 2) they would give everything in Sunday's (December 6) Autumn Nations Cup final against England at Twickenham.

France, who beat England in their opening game of the Six Nations in February, will be fielding a largely second-string team due to the agreement between clubs and the national union that no player could be involved in more than three of their autumn matches.

England qualified for the final by topping Group A with wins over Georgia, Ireland and Wales, while France won Group B after beating Italy and Scotland and being handed a walkover against COVID-hit Fiji.

"It's a great team, one of the best in the world, which reached the final of the World Cup so it'll be a big challenge on Sunday. The objective is to take the fight to the English, to try and put as much pressure on them as possible and to win because we're still hopeful," flanker Cameron Woki told a news conference before a training session.
