STORY: A thick, dark plume of ash was seen rising and headed in a southwestern direction as shown in a CCTV footage captured from the nearest outwatch post.

The nearest settlements are located around 10 miles from the 515 ft-high volcano and no casualties and evacuations were reported after the eruption, said authorities.

The agency warned residents not to conduct any activities within a three mile radius from the surrounding area.
