Rapeseed flowers carpet Umbrian countryside

The region of Umbria is known as the "green heart" of Italy with nearby Castelluccio di Norcia also putting on a fantastic display of cornflowers, daisies and poppies a bit later in the season.

For the moment, people have been enjoying getting out to see the vibrant colors and to appreciate the change of seasons.

Rapeseed oil will be made from the seeds once the flowers have died away.
