SON OF LATE BRITISH PHYSICIST STEPHEN HAWKING, TIM HAWKING, SAYING:

"It was really, really important to him during his lifetime that science be opened up to the widest possible number of people... I think this body of work will help - hopefully inspire - the next generation to come."

Hawking died in March 2018 aged 76

He was diagnosed with motor neurone disease at 21

He was confined to a wheelchair for most of his life

"It's quite moving to see those old pictures, firstly to see him, of course, as an able-bodied young man... So to actually see him enjoying the same kind of student lifestyle that we might enjoy ourselves was was... yeah, it was nice to see."
